PLOT: There is an ancient box that
contains mystical powers. Powers to open doorways to other
dimensions, and bring to life anything that is not within our
reality. When this box is placed inside a closet containing sci-fi
and horror movie memorabilia, movie monsters begin to come to life
and enter the real world, threatening our reality. Using Sci-Fi
Movie weapons and their movie trivia know how, it's up to 2 Movie
Geeks and 1 Female Vampire Hunter to stop the monsters, and close
the box inside Bobby's Closet.
SYNOPSIS:
Jerry, Al, and Bobby. They love
movies, comic books, and are huge fans of all things Sci-Fi,
Horror, and action. They've been friends since Junior High and all
live in the same house together. Bobby is the adventurer, the
Indiana Jones type, always traveling the world searching for
mysterious artifacts. He lives in the basement where he keeps all
of his strange items and movie memorabilia, but he's hardly ever
home. Al and Jerry are not so adventurous. Al is the former Chef
who now spends his days playing video games and selling baked goods
and desserts out of his trunk. Jerry is the former comic book
artist who has lost his passion for drawing. He hates his life, his
job, and his bitchy girlfriend and has a major obsession with the
popular movie character, a female Vampire hunter named Jade. Jerry
and Al both live in a house filled with rube goldberg
machines and gadgets that are built to make “life
easier.”
One night Bobby comes home while
everyone is asleep. He goes to his basement to put away the latest
treasure he has discovered, an ancient box said to have
supernatural powers. He hides the item in his closet, the same
place he keeps much of his own favorite pieces of movie
memorabilia, action figures, posters, books, etc. Bobby disappears,
and all of the items inside the closet begin to come to life. Art
work and posters from different Sci-Fi and Horror films, monstrous
action figures, and scenes from movies and comic books begin to
spring into our reality and out of Bobby's Closet.
Jerry and Al discover the mysterious
box inside the closet and find that some of there favorite monsters
and movie characters have escaped into their neighborhood. Fearing
the worst and realizing they are not prepared to deal with
monsters, the two decide to throw in a DVD copy of VAMPIRE HUNTER
JADE into the closet, which brings to life the Super Heroine
Monster Hunter. Armed with some of their favorite movie weapons,
and with the help of a famous Vampire Huntress, the two movie geeks
must figure out a way to contend with 2 psycho killers, an army of
zombies, roller skating vampires, a ninja, a pirate, and a giant
beast, as well as stop the power from inside Bobby's
Closet.
This movie is very much inspired by
many of the Sci-Fi, Horror, Action, Adventure movies of the 80's.
It's a comedy mixed with action and sprinkled with the right amount
of horror and science fiction, with characters you will love and
cheer for. What would you do if some of your favorite movies
